Twelve Ships Depart from Sicily Heading to Gaza
Twelve vessels of the Global Sumud Flotilla set sail from Italy’s Sicily Island towards Gaza. On board are 58 Italian citizens, including four members of parliament.
The flotilla aims to rendezvous in the Mediterranean with 22 more ships expected to depart from Tunisia within two days. This coordinated gathering will strengthen the united front of solidarity.
The Italian delegation aboard includes four MPs, as well as activists and civil society representatives, highlighting the breadth of international participation.
